How To Make a Home Show Successful

Home shows work if you know how to work them. Play it right, and you’ll walk out with thousands in revenue, not just a stack of business cards.

Here’s what we did to secure $100k:

  1. Don’t Put Sales People in the Booth

We hired lead setters, not sales guys. At home shows, you need people who know how to pull homeowners in and start conversations.

  1. Focus on People Over Set Up

Some set ups look GREAT. Big part of home shows.

But if you think looking good is the only way to get people walking up to speak to you, you’re wrong. You need to have people that know how to draw people in, keep them talking, and close a deal.

  1. Do Giveaways

At home shows, you need to have a little something extra to bring to these events. Everyone’s doing the same thing, and the ones not giving away anything are the least interesting on the board.

We ran a killer raffle. First 100 signups got a free membership, plus a shot at a free furnace. People lined up for it.

If you’re looking for revenue ops this year, definitely take a look at implementing these 3 things into your events.
